Being the gastronomic heritage of Spanish ham is protected by origin and has a severe classification, which allows you to clearly separate its varieties. Basic only two – jamón serrano and jamón ibérico.

* Jamón ibérico – a more expensive type of ham that is made from the black Iberian pig hams. Maintain and grow such pigs – a long and expensive, so jamon ibérico is valued much higher than the jamon serrano.
